OUR PTO

Our mission is to partner with parents, teachers and administrators to promote the educational, mental and physical welfare of our children. Connecting our families to our school community as one.

Our Objectives:

• To foster relationships among the school, parents/guardians, and teachers.

• To enhance communication between families and administrators.

• To cultivate cooperation between parents and teachers to further enhance the education of students.

• To assist and create school events geared to the entire school population, as a whole.

The PTO funds multiple initiatives annually:

• Teacher/staff appreciation events

• Scholarships for 4 graduating seniors

• Student event support (provided a photo booth for the Winter Dance)

• Therapy Dogs for the Wellness Program
• Money for the library to update resources
• Money for the organic garden
• Freshmen orientation party

Opportunities for parent participation include:

• Providing financial support through membership and direct contributions

• Participate as a Chair (when open) or a committee(s)

• Volunteer at a PTO-sponsored event

• Donate to the teacher/staff appreciation event

• Join the Project Graduation Committee (during your student’s senior year)

• Attend PTO general meetings and events
